Chapter Ten

The following Monday, a new device was delivered to the library. Lord Adrian was there himself to receive it. Although he strove for his usual air of imperturbability, his excitement was palpable.

Custom crafted at great cost and effort, the device was a work of art and science brought together in service to Eros.
